 HOWEVER...  I am glad you guys finally put that in print so that I can explain to you guys.  I do not actually sandbag.  What you guys consider sandbagging is actually called PACING   , oh, and there is the drafting thing,  and the no pain no gain theory that I do not adhere to that allows me to have a little extra gas on the end of rides.     sooooooo anyone who had ever told me that I sandbag should check my bike times that are slower than everyone else's to my dismay.  If I bragged about my biking instead of being modest you guys would laugh at me after checking my bike splits.  Thank you for the post however,  I am trying to become a better cyclist so that I can be like David O'Rear when I grow up.

We did proclaim this the year of the yard party but alas, we've only had the one.   Too busy, hot and buggy.  However, college football starts in about 2 weeks and we have delicious homebrew on tap in the basement . . .
