Swim
Comments: This was a really good swim for me. Usually I swim slower during races for some reason, but today I did what I set out to do. There was some traffic in the water, but isn't there always st indoor tris? What would you do differently?: Nothing at all. I was really happy with my performance. Transition 1
Comments: Overall, it went pretty well. I found my bike, put on my helmet and shoes, then left. Everything was soaked, though, and it kind of sucked putting on my helmet :(. What would you do differently?: All was just as expected. Bike
Comments: Despite it raining, the wind blowing, and the course being soaked and slippery, I felt the bike was successful. I definitely was cautious going downhill and turning, so that slowed me down a little. I'm just glad I didn't crash. What would you do differently?: Nothing under my control. It would have been nice if the road was dry and it wasn't so windy, but I did my best considering the circumstances weren't ideal. Transition 2
Comments: As I pulled into transition, I immediately noticed that m shoes were filled to the brim with water. I dumped them out and put them on my already soaked and almost blistering feet. I thought for sure I would get blisters on the run. What would you do differently?: Once again, nothing under my control. i would have saved 10 or 15 seconds if my shoes were dry, but everything else was fine. Run
Comments: This was the fastest, most exciting run I've done during a triathlon! I ran out of T2 a bit fast and determined not to let my extremely heavy shoes get the best of me. I took off and only slowed down when I had to run through a "river" flowing down a hill the I was running up. What would you do differently?: Nothing. I gave all my effort and got an awesome time. What else is there? Post race
Warm down: I took a short walk (over to the pancake table), put on a dry sweatshirt, then went home since there was no chance I had won an award with such a competitive age group. What limited your ability to perform faster: The Rain! Last updated: 2016-04-01 12:00 AM

Got up at 4:30, ate breakfast, then headed to the race. When I got there, I set up in the transition area, used the bathroom, then began the run and swim warmup. After the warmup, it started pouring so the race director delayed the start for an hour, but it did nothing
