BOOTYGIRL GOT MARRIED!!

She was gracious enough to invite me to the wedding.  I was, unfortunately, suffering some discomfort, but Lynn and I did make it to the reception for a while.  She looked fabulous!  And her hubby Derreck looked very handsome in his tux.  They went with  'earth-tones' - the bridesmaids had burgundy (??) dresses.  At least I think they were burgundy - what do I know about dress color?  I'm a guy.

CONGRATULATIONS MARY!!

wow! Thank you everyone!
And thank you Joe and Lynn for coming! Yes, the maid of honor was in maroon (ralph lauren velvet) (good attention to detail, Joe), the MOB in a jazzy plum, and the sassy sister of the bride in red, and the neices in maroon satin. The Lt. Cololnel (BOB) and his wife came in black tie. Festive attire ruled! And the bride had a hellofa tiara (I could get used to that!). The woodland nymph, formerly known as flowergirl, leant great style to leaf throwing and even break dancing!

I remember the ceremony with crystal clarity, but the reception was a blur of half conversations and flamboyant dancing (Derreck is a salsa meastro and no one could see my feet under the dress)! It was such a long day I feel like I could post a race report!

Note to those about to get married - adding a tea ceremony is a good hydrator, especially if you are going to recite your own vows!

When we get photos, we will post some!
