Subject: Planning to cheat on my girl today

She's 13 now and a bit heavy. I'm going out shopping today for a new model. I think we both knew this day would come, just as she replaced my K-Mart 12 speed I bought in 1986 that did surprisingly heavy duty for being a tank.

i dunno, new is always an exhilarating ride, but the older ladies usually can provide the most fun rides! Heck i still have a 20yr old relationship hangin around here somewhere...what can i say...the women, they like me..

i'm pretty picky at choosing my ride applicant.

Felt the same way when I brought my Kuota.  I had to hide from my Torpado.  Hopefully the wife will start riding my old bike so it's not lonely.

I just introduced my new girl to my old mtn man. He wasn't too sure at first, and kinda wanted to be snobby, but I had shown him a lot of good dirty lovin' last weekend and left him covered with dirt so he'd feel special, and I showed him that she was all clean and spiffy, and so I think he's okay with it. Only time will tell - I expect to come home at least once and find her shoved on the ground with a few tell-tale muddy chain marks.

Don't know WHAT I'd do if I actually had to *replace* one though!

I saw at great t-shirt in an Asheville bike shop this year that fits the situation "My bike doesn't mind when I ride other bikes". It really makes life easier when you have an understanding and open relationship with your bikes.
