Subject: RE: Sunscreen???auto208562 - 2009-06-21 12:12 AM If this is an official IM sponsored 1/2, there should be volunteers to apply sunblock on for you in the change tent at t1 and when you exit t1. There should also be sunblock at the aid stations on your bike leg. Negative. Do NOT count on this, unless it specifically says it in your race instructions. There was no such thing at Ironman 70.3 Kansas this year or last. Which is an "official IM sponsored 1/2" (also there are no change tents in 99% of 70.3s ) I sunscreen after being body marked, before the race. I use a cream-style SPF 44, some sport forumla I bought at my local running store (water proof, sweat proof, sand proof, etc. ). The spray on ones work for some, but I can't get them to cover me very well. Plus if you spray it directly on your body marking, it will bleed and disappear. Edited by lisac957 2009-06-21 3:26 PM
