Routes NOT saving correctly

Elite  3020   Bay Area, CA |  Subject: Routes NOT saving correctlyI put this in another thread, but then I realized it was a different problem. What's happening to me (only on bike routes so far) is that I do the whole route, save it, and then it's just not there. The computer black hole ate it, and now it's laughing at me. This has happened twice - and both times it's about made me crazy. I spend about 30 minutes getting the route in there and patiently waiting for it to update everything and then it just wafts itself off. I'm starting to feel like I need to sacrifice a keyboard to the computer gods before I hit save next time. Or dance around wafting incense around and chanting.

Champion 13323 | Subject: RE: Routes NOT saving correctly This should be corrected in the next version which mdaddy is putting the final touches on. We will also included a notification in the next version that will pop up a message when there's a problem saving a route. The route processing should be a lot faster for those longer routes (sounds like yours is) so that should eliminate some issues too. I guess we're just waiting on Google's update to the aplication so we can integerate that in to then update it here. |

We're now testing the next version which should take care of this. I could actually use a couple volunteers who would be willing to be beta testers for the next version. New features to be tested include: - better handling of the elevation service being down |

For example, I created a 30 mile bike route but had a "brain fart" and saved it as a running route. Now I can't seem to go back and change the "type" or sport from "run" to "bike". Thanx in Advance!!
