Oh I remember when the 7-11's were always our personal sag spots! My first century that's where we did "lunch on our own". Course we were younger then and could handle some non-nutritious food.
pitt83 - 2012-07-10 9:25 PM WTH is wrong with you? Chocolate entenmans is the only worthy pastry from a convenience store.
We used to call these "wax doughnuts" as the chocolate had a waxy consistency. A 6 pack of these plus a chocolate milk was breakfast almost every day my senior year in HS.
Ummm. Moon Pie and an RoC. They are still available, but one must hunt them down on back roads and locate the mythical country store. Gives a hard weekend ride a pleasant mission. Makes it most worthwhile.
LOL I used to use poptarts re race all the time but then someone bought unfrosted ones ICK and I lost my taste for them
Why would you make a pop tart with no frosting???? That's like leaving out the stuffing in an oreo!
Aaaand while we're on the topic: double stuffed Oreos. I acquired a taste for them when I did a supported century ride. At mile 80, I'd never tasted anything so good.
