Subject: Garmin upload time changed with this iteration
When I first got a Garmin the time it uploaded was what showed at the end of the workout. This ignored time spent whenever the start/stop button was pushed (like red lights, etc)

After a while, during one of the previous updates it went to total time. This included the time that the watch was stopped. So if I went 1:10:58 but had stopped the watch for the three minute red light at a busy intersection when I uploaded it, the time would say 1:13:45 or whatever the actual time was.

A while ago that was fixed and changed back to show the time again?
On the garmin connect site there are three times:

Time
Moving Time
Elapsed Time

The moving time seems to be where you have it set to auto stop when you go below a certain speed. Right now your uploading and posting Elapsed Time. Is it possible to go back to upload the "Time" as it was for most of the time I've been here?

This is due to a change with the latest Garmin Communicator. Their developer forums are full of people asking for a fix to this. Garmin has acknowledged it but hasn't given an indication of when a fix can be expected.

We've uploaded a correction for this on our end. Give it a try and let us know if the results are what you're expecting to see.

I don't know if this is the same issue, but my uploaded time was off today (and distance a tiny bit).  Uploaded was off by over 2 minutes.  I had a programmed workout on the Garmin and I pushed stop once at a light but still finished at 45 and a bit but when I updated here it was 43ish (I changed it).  The Garmin software got it right.

I just uploaded several days of data.  Seems that the run times are ok.  The bike times are weird.  for example in the garmin training center software my ride time was 1:50:05:64.  after I uploaded it it was reported as 1:110:05 on the add a workout page.  I have attached screen shot...............

I had that same thing happen.... it uploaded my bike ride as something like 1 hour 107 minutes or something. I manually fixed it.

Similiar thing for me.  Garmin communicator shows 46:00.  After I hit the upload button it came in at 17:00.  The lap data was correct so I just changed it manually.  It's only been the last two days that this has been happening.

My run data was off by a little over 2 minutes on the download today, heartreat was also different by a few beats. Downloaded to Sport tracks and Garmin didn't see any errors...there is something a miss I think.

I've experienced some issues as well. The date for this morning's workout was listed as yesterday's date and the average HR was Waaaayy off.

I couldn't upload the data to my training log this morning as the date stamp is wrong. I manually entered the workout.

Yesterday I experienced a similar issue to others in that the time for the workout was dislplayed as 1(hr):90(mins) instead of 1(hr):30(mins). I manually changed that field as well.

I'm guessing there is some funky stuff going down at the Communicator interface...

I believe that this has been fixed.  I got a pm yesterday explaining that a fix had been uploaded.  I test the problems I was having and all seems to be working fine.

I think there are still some issues.  The last couple of days it's changed from pulling in the elapsed time, to something less than actual time.  For example, I ran exactly 1 hour.  On the upload it showed 1:01:xx (I stopped at a light, and it auto paused).  When I clicked to upload it pulled in 59:52.  But I was moving for 1:00:00.

And the average HR was off, as well as mile laps.  It's very skewed.  I changed the time and average HR, but can't do anything about the laps.

Still issues here. Workout this morning was 48:48, uploaded to Garmin Connect as such, uploaded to BT as 46:13.

This has been reverted back to using the Elapsed Time. We'll see what needs to be done to use the Actual Time.

Not sure it this is related but I've had two different workouts where the total time was drastically longer.  Both of them were over an hour (1:20 and 1:05) but when I uploaded they showed up as and hour longer (2:20 and 2:05, respectively).

FWIW, I am having issues too with time. As was mentioned, it puts minutes in the hundreds and will sometimes drop seconds altogether

The time for a run workout upload was wrong again.  Garmin 305 device reports 21:24:12 as Total Time (and is correct).  After uploading the time is 21:00 (in BT train log).  So it is not working again.  I don't know what you mean by Elapsed time??  I don't see the elapsed time in the Garmin Training Center just Total Time.  I have done this successfully several times over the past year with no problems.

I have found this to still be an issue.  Any ideas when this is going to be fixed??
