I'm working my usual stretch of 6 consecutive 13-hour overnight shifts, so I'm pretty much unable to do anything significant right now.  I do this every other week.  IT REALLY F&%KS UP MY TRAINING SCHEDULE.  I'm going to have to find a way to work around this, because it is making me resent work even more than usual....

I will be at a community event surrounded by about 200 homemade pies being judged and consumed...you may now return to your endurance training.

An absolutely gorgeous day for my last long run before the Baltimore Half-Marathon...

12 miles, 2:03:05. Not only my longest run ever, but my fastest pace yet for anything above a 10K...

Bring that half marathon! Woohoo!

An hour in the gym -- 40 minutes on the elliptical, praying my ankle allows me to stay on that long and go hard enough to break a sweat; 20 minutes weights.

DONE! Ankle was nice to me today!

Ran 6 miles in an attempt to detox from my trip to Wrigley Thursday.  Drowning your sorrows in alcohol hurts.

Trying to decide if I should ride my bike down to the little store (10 miles) in the rain that is blowing sideways to get a snack - I do have a 64 mile race tomorrow - hmmmmmmm.... It sure would be nice to buy some popcorn though and then get in bed and watch a movie......
