Subject: RE: Guys Only Workout?The other thing to consider is that within hours of posting the existence of a "guys only" workout class you will likely have people complaining that it is sexist, threatening to boycott your gym, calling the local papers, etc.
It is totally acceptable to have womens only classes, clubs and runs/events but if you do the same thing for men there are likely to be issues. I mean really, how many guys are protesting that "Curves" is sexist because men are not allowed? (Conversely, how many men care about having a guys only event?--not many )

Oh and to answer the original question, probably less likely to go but the sexual dynamic of the class doesn't really matter to me as long as the training is good. The best boot camp style instructor I know is a five foot tall female dynamo that can bring a group of fitness freaks to their knees. |
