So I just hitched Saturday past, registry office, pregnant bride, crazy inlaws the whole nine.

From a past post, I contemplaited doing an Oly the next day. I copped some flack even considering the notion. I can say i didn't go through with it, but went to the Zoo instead.

See the gushing couple below.

I got married on the 5th... first argument of the marriage occured when the alarm clock went off at 6:30am the following day for rowing training... you'd have thought that an Aussie girl, coming from a sporting nation and everything would have been for more understanding! (PS I'm a pom trapped here)

As a POM you could always threaten to want to move home. I think she probably just laugh though ...right?

Friend:

Let me pass along some sage advice I received from an old man at my wedding reception. I still don't know who he was but remember what he said: "Son, you need to learn something that will get you out of the dog house each and every time.  And it is a sure fire way to keep your marriage happy."

"Now repeat after me: 'Honey, you were right. I was wrong ... I don't know what I was thinking.'"

After 11 1/2 years, it still works like a charm.

Congratulations on both the nuptuals and the baby!

Congrats! And from a girl who's been married 3 1/2 years, don't use the "yes, honey" line too often. We know when y'all are being sarcastic

Congrats to you and Mrs. Downunderman.

BTW - you have probably learned by know that most pregnancy books are as boring as watching the paint dry. Two worth reading are "The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy" and "What to Expect When Your Wife is Expanding"
