Philadelphia, south of New York and north of DC | Subject: Are you having a good day... I am... Had a nice CoJ conversation with three of my favorite BTrs - Jim, Chippy, and Renee... Found a document that I need by the end of the day. Thought it would take me all day to find it, but it popped up in two minutes... Found out that my concert accordion is worth about 30% more than I thought. I'm selling it and hoping to use the proceeds to buy a tri bike. (I use to play in an accordion orchestra with the Acme Accordion School (no there are no Road Runners there) , the official orchestra of Westmont, N.J. - I'm not very good, I played fourth accordion - classical and classical/pop music - you gotta hear it to believe it)... Got a nice Annual Report job from a Fortune 100 company... Client at said company said "you're a big ticket item, but you're worth it". Maybe that should be my tag line: He's expensive, but he's worth it.

Elite 2661 DC Metro, slowly working my way to NC | Subject: RE: Are you having a good day... So far, so good. Window installers have confirmed they're coming on Monday, which puts me one step closer to being able to sell my townhouse. I've had lots of coffee. The stock market is not tanking. And it's Friday. :) |

Veteran 216 Calgary, Alberta | Subject: RE: Are you having a good day... I'm super duper excellent. 1) It's Friday, which means it's the weekend 2) It's snowy and pretty outside 3) Just as I was getting to work, my new favourite song came on the radio, so I rocked out before leaving my car. 4) My co-worker brought timbits and loose green tea to share 5) I came to work and had a sweet email from the boy I'm dating 6) I had an elementary school reunion last night and it was fantabulous. 7) I leave for Aus/NZ in 9 days 8) I cleaned my fish bowl, so my fish is happy too. Yay, happy Friday |

Champion 6285 Beautiful Sonoma County | Subject: RE: Are you having a good day... So far, so good. I haven't had much to do yet. Our March issue is printed and I should have a early copy on my desk this morning. So, it's just little wrap-up projects to do. I need to clean up my desk area since my Big Boss is coming next week. Today is my last day as a Project Employee here. Next Monday is my official first day as a regular employee. Woot! I'm looking forward to snuggling-in tomorrow morning while listening to it rain outside. I have a 10k race on Sunday (hoping it doesn't rain too much). They're playing good music on the radio. It's raining! Which means SNOW in the mountains. Woo hoo! |

Extreme Veteran 444 Olathe, KS | Subject: RE: Are you having a good day... Yes! I came in to work and someone brought in 2 dozen donuts - this is the only time I ever eat any. Had my annual performance review today and it went GREAT! Manager had only good things to say. It's Friday!!! and a rest day for me. AND I get to leave work early for my LASIK followup. I'm excited to see what my new vision technically is. Plus my sister (who just started running about 6 months ago, and is doing great with it!) asked me to do the Disney Half marathon with her next year. Hope everyone else who's having a bad day will have something turn it around for them. |

All good news from the doctor on baby Luke... he gained a pound (significant and wonderful in our world), I had a great run this morning, older kids are happy and having fun, scored free box seats for a hockey game, got my skate blades sharpened so I can hit the ice, had lots of positive feedback after my class today and helped some folks figure out how HR zone training works and they really got it. Babysitter will be here in a couple hours so I can have a night out with hubby . |

Master 2299 New York | Subject: RE: Are you having a good day... Day so far has been kind of like stale oatmeal with a thumbtack hidden inside. Kind of blah (long cold run this AM, hard swim at lunch, a long swim after work). Please see my "stupid stupid stupid" thread in TT for the thumbtack explanation. Others have seemed to enjoy it. I would say "at least it's the weekend," but between today, tomorrow and Sunday I have about 9.5hrs of training scheduled. whoofreakinpee. At least it's supposed to be cold (for TN) this weekend. I would hate to be comfortable while riding and running. |

Got in a 20 mile bike ride in near-perfect weather. Vacuumed all the crap out of my car and found almost $2 in change Got to the store to buy the kids valentine stuff BEFORE it all sold out. I get to go with the family to a High school basketball game tonight-our team rocks! It doesn't take much to make me happy |

Monday was my 17th b-day. Thursday I get a call about an interview for the Air Force Academy summer seminar program. Today, instead of wrestling practice, we played football (a nice change). I don't think this week could get any better! |

Champion 7821 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: Are you having a good day... Horrible day at work. Horrible. Short of someone being killed in an accident, or some other kind of tragegy, it's hard to imagine how I could ever have a worse day than the one I went through today. One of the worst ever in my career. Seriously. Fortunately, as lousy as I feel, it will have no bearing whatsoever on how excited my son will be to see me when I get home. So, it's all about perspective.
