Really? I am a Vancouver Canucks fan. I wish no ill on the team that eliminated them, because I understand that they played horribly. Without trying to spark a heated debate, did Seattle stand a significant chance at winning the conference? |

COrrection. The owner lied and bought the team with the intent of moving them to OKC all while proclaiming his undying love for keeping them in Seattle. Similar to what the new Seattle ownership group might be doing if they become minority owners. |

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() If there's any team left that can beat Miami, it's Memphis. Beaucoup defense/key players basically healthy/team is on a bit of a mission. Looks like they split the series with San Antonio in the regular season(assuming SA closes it out tonight) but SA is looking older and creakier with every series. I just can't believe they're going to beat the Griz. . . Which leaves Miami v. Memphis(Indiana is perfectly capable of taking some games but it's even more of a stretch seeing them winning that series than it would be SA beating Memphis). This is an intriguing match up as Miami isn't going to like a bunch of games in a row against the kind of D Memphis throws at you, and hasn't got any kind of answer at either end for Gasol's size. I could see a brutal seven game championship series and if Memphis doesn't use too much energy making it to the last round might, just might get the trophy.. Back here on planet earth, Miami 45-3 in the last 48. |

I'd assume Lebron is guarding the other one. I'd really enjoy watching Memphis/Miami though. |

Pro ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Great win last night for our first ever trip to the Western Conference Finals! Tony Allen was a lockdown guy on Durant last night, although they did scare me there at the end.
bring on SA or Golden State! Can't wait for the next series!!! |

I'd assume Lebron is guarding the other one. I'd really enjoy watching Memphis/Miami though. If they really wanted to try something odd, they'd put Lebron on Conley and make Tayshun start the offensive sets. Wouldn't be surprised to see them do it if the Grizz find a pick and roll groove. But that's still a hopeful four wins away. The Spurs are old, but they still know how to play a little ball. Pop and Duncan have had one of the best runs ever for a franchise. |

Ugly loss yesterday for the Grizz. Gotta bounce back and grind |

I don't know if I want to retract my post but underestimating the Spurs is a mistake. That game was a spanking all the way around. |

Pro ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() We lost game 1 against the Clippers, we lost Game 1 against the Thunder...
No reason to panic, we just got out played, and they shot the ball well. San Antonio is a smart, experienced team. And they have a great actor in Manu! |

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Well, despite tuning in to almost every game in the post-season, it turns out I don't know as much as I thought I did... Vive le Spurs! IF it should be Miami/SA finals, I'll be pulling for the old guys. Parker is just an amazement ; MVP of the post-season to this point. Some years, home court is everything and no one wins an away game. This year has been a little different... |

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Old Creaky 4, young hotness 0. ESPN has already proclaimed the Heat the best team ever. I may regret this, but I hope the Heat win their series with the Pacers. The Spurs have been overlooked the entirity of this playoffs. |
