Can Seattle hold on here and pull a major stunner right off the bat?

Congrats, Seahawks.

What a run by Marchand (sp?) Lynch!! Incredible!!! A knife in the heart of the Saints in this game.

Nobody gave the Seahawks a chance, and it looks like they may win it.

x2.  What a run!
I just got done arguing with my bro-in-law who's mad the Seahawks were even in the playoffs at 7-9.
In my opinion, you win your division, you're in.  period.
I think the Colts will win game #2,
then tomorrow we'll have the Ravens and Packers win.

Any Given Saturday  (anybody can win in the NFL)  That's why they play the game and not listen to the so called experts on the radio and tv airwaves.

Can't wait to hear how Colin Cowherds Crow Sandwich taste.

Cowherd is the most annoying person on ESPN by a long shot. I can't stand anything that comes out of that mans mouth.

Lynch's TD run was one of the greatest things I have ever seen.

Yes he is agravating, but I like him better than some of the Fox Sports radio personalities.  And he does have Michele Beedle on his SportsNation.

I'm waiting to see what he says about his Div 1 AA Champions Eastern Washington University Eagles.

ESPN announcers can't pronounce #87 Ben Obomanu  unless it sounds like the POTUS playing football.

So how ridiculous will Rex Ryan get this week heading into a matchup with T Brady and Belicheck? After all his run about Peyton this week and finally beating that demon, wonder how far he takes it this week.

I saw that play and was just amazed. I've seen it replayed several times and am still amazed. The entire Saints defense can be summarized by the play of #22, Tracy Porter, on that single play. He wanted no part of that guy. He took a bad angle, came up timidly, went in high, got swatted away like a fly, and then just jogged along trailing the play.  He could have taken out his legs at the 40 yard line. Pitiful. I do get very tired of watching horrible tackling in the NFL, both the high arm tackle variety and the leading with the helmet variety.

I'm impressed that Hasselbeck came all the way down to help block (albeit not that strong, but STILL)!  How many quarterbacks would do that?

I just realized this is the first game I've seen this year with either the Seahawks, Chiefs or, next week, Falcons. Can't national TV be more flexible than making me watch the Cowboys 9 times a season?

Edit: I did watch the pseudo-playoff Rams / Seahawks game last week.

We got some great games coming next week. All rematches from earlier this year with the two AFC games between rubber matches.

Now why can't college do this?..... Undecided

Oh yeah, too tough on the student athlete

Ha!  How funny would that be?  I have no sympathy for the teams that couldn't win their divisions.
With my Vikes out I'm pretty much just rooting for good games and some fun to watch upsets.  The Seahawks game qualified as just that.  I feel good for Pete Carroll.
