Being bored out of my mind at work the last few days, I decided to wander into some of the forums.
(I know, I brought it upon myself!
) And, after reading through some of the threads, I wondered:
Why do people who have no experience to fall back on, or who have shown some improvement in their ability, but still have A LOT to learn, feel obligated to answer training/equipment/whatever related questions???
Really… some people should STOP and THINK before saying, “Gee… I fell into a puddle once so I am qualified to answer a question about swimming efficiency.”
(NOTE: That was a fictitious example.
)
But, as I said, I’m not going to go there…
I mean, if I were going to go there, I’d suggest that the person answering the question take a quick stop in at the blog of the person asking the question. I know it’s hard to believe, but it is possible that the person asking the question may actually have some experience themselves, more so than the person who feels obligated to answer the question. Hell, maybe even the person visiting the blog could learn a thing or two while there.
But, I’m not going to go there because then I’d get my azz handed to me for being a d1ck, again, and I’d have to put the Big Meanie hat back on!
BTW: This was just a general observation and has nothing to do with the replies I received to my recent posts—just want to make that clear!
Okay, go ahead and fire away if you’d like…
