The truly interesting thing is when two people who have their coaching websites linked to their sig lines disagree re: training. 

Truly, you get what you pay for when you ask for free advice over the internet.

To me, as long as the advice is good, I don't have a problem with it.

People like to be helpful, they like to show off their knowledge. In a lot of cases, they may be good students, and have picked up sound advice on the same subject and are merely passing it on. A general theme is there really aren't any new questions being asked, just the same things getting rehashed over and over.

It may not mean that one of them is wrong, but rather that there's than one way to skin a cat. But yeah, that is interesting, and int hose cases you can truly learn something useful, because the discussion tends to bo into very great detail.

or they're both wrong, ..... or both right.... or Rob's wrong.... or we all are.

Yeah...that happens sometimes, but this board is dynamic enough that misinformation gets corrected very, very rapidly. If this board were stale, than it would be an issue, but I don't think there's really ever a case where someone suffers because of incorrect information they've received.

I like the ones that are adamant that their way is the ONLY way and if you weren't such an ignorant cretin you would not question their higher authority on the matter! Those are always good for a laugh.

Interesting timing.  I was just over on another board, reading some of the toxic postings and thinking "Man, they are so much nicer over on BT".  

So when you read these completely useless, inappropriate responses from these people who have no business annoying you with their silly little inexperienced replies, have you ever thought ...  "Hey they're enthusiastic about this new endeavor, and they're just trying to be helpful.  They feel like they belong here, and they just want to be part of the community.  I can't use their advice, but it took me about three second to realize it, and I'm not even obligated to reply to them, so it cost me almost none of my valuable time".

I'm guessing.....no. 

Okay, let me settle this.  I am always right and the expert on everything!!  Unless, my fiance' disagree's with me, then I go with what she said!!
