Yesterday kicked my butt--it's becoming an 8 hour workout scraping/spraying the salt off the cars/trucks/campers. Another long day ahead today! Good luck Sunday racers!!! |

Was gonna try an OWS but the balck flags were flying and undercurrent was really strong. BEyond a tiny patch right under the lifeguards station - no swimming allowed! |

Veteran 1900 Southampton, Ontario | Subject: RE: 8.14.11 Sunny Sunday! 1/2 marathon today that I signed up for on Friday. It went poorly, my quads killed at 4km in and stayed that way the whole race. Had to stop to use the washrooms twice. Wasn't my day thats for sure. |

Good luck Sunday racers!!! Those of us in Texas are a bit tired of the sun this year. Fortunately it looks like rain today!!! YES!!! 30 mile recovery ride this morning followed by house painting (that's my version of a brick). 5,000M swim workout at noon. Recovering now and hopefully will be doing a 7 - 8 mile run later in the rain. |

Pro 9391 Omaha, NE | Subject: RE: 8.14.11 Sunny Sunday! It's been a great day. I went for a run with my wife this morning and she had a huge break through. She's lost 60 lbs. since January and has just started running. She's never ran more than 1 mile continuous in her life and we ran 5.5 miles without stopping this morning. It was slow, but I couldn't be more proud of her. After that she drove home and I ran 6.5 miles to get home at my normal pace. |
