I am moving my office about a 3km bike ride from court. This kinda is going to cramp my style as I have been in the habit of cycle commuting, changing at work, then walking the 1 block from my office to court. 3km is a bit far to walk. I am not a fan of taxis, especially since the bike ride there would take about 6 minutes (it is mostly straight down hill), and the bike ride back would take maybe 10.

But I know the crotch in my suit pants aren't going to survive the bike ride back up the hill.

Any suggestions for good looking bike friendly pants.

I'd check out Dickie's brand.   Good quality fabric and will look like you're wearing "chinos".  They come is good dark colors, too, and you can get a flattering fit.  All the cool hipsters are wearing them to work

Check out Levi's commuter collection. It's a collection that's deigned to be worn while riding (water- and stain-resistant fabrics, deep pockets, reflective details, etc). Some of the stuff is a little hipster-ish, but some of the pieces are cool.
