Subject: RE: Good (paperback) book recommendations?SweetK - 2008-04-03 9:33 AM . x2 -"Into the Wild" and "Into Thin Air" are great reads -I also want to add "Just In Case" to the mix, its an interesting read about a teenage boy who knows he is doomed by fate - written very well. There are so many others, not sure what you like to read - in terms of Historical Fiction - the Philippa Gregory books about King Henry 8's times are good, Alison Weir's book "Innocent Traitor" about Lady Jane Grey was awesome.. oooh, Just in Case IS excellent ( and yeah for reading YA fiction!) You gotta read her first novel, how i live now , which I liked even better-- not so distant futuristic near apocalyptic war in England which separates a set of siblings and their American cousin from adults...
