Chad: Advair is fine - IF someone can be controlled with just the steroid (flovent, pulmicort....) fine but LABAs (long acting beta agonists) have their place - I still use them (personally too). I see asthmatics every 3 months to make sure their meds are right and what can we back off on....so make sure your wife's doc is keeping close tabs or find a doc who will!
bottom line: all drugs have bad scary side effects....

I don't even know who her doctor is now... she switched away from mine a while back because he wouldn't listen to her. I don't know who she switched to... I should probably know that. |
