Subject: Avoiding the Bike to Run Bonk and ...Ok, so I have been practicing my nutrition on my long rides. I use Infinit and take in around 200-250ish calories per hour. I back off in the last 20 - 30 minutes to prepare for my run (I typically do a 30 minute brick after my long rides ). I statred doing this based on an article I read about avoidinig the bike to run bonk (which really deals with over doing it nutrition wise on the bike and getting stomach distress on the run ). The Infinit has been great and I am NOT hungry (which is huge for me! ) when I get off the bike. So, given that -- at what point in the run do I start taking nutrition? Thanks! |
