I've never seen a race where this a 26 mile painted line for the course. Always. They paint the exact distance to complete 26.2 miles and the runners run pretty much right on that line. Heh. The announcers are just pointing out that her running style is not as smooth now. Look at you, being all observant. They should let you commentate. She actually won the Chicago marathon in 2004 and then came to Fleet Feet the next year before the marathon. I think she took second that year. She's about the size of a tiny twig in real life. |
