I have always used Thorlo running socks and have been happy with them. A few weeks ago I forgot to pack my thorlos so I used regular cotton socks and my feet felt better. I have tried a few thinner running socks like under armour and reebok and liked them better than the Thorlos, but the seems are more noticeable. I found a pair of socks at Fleetfeet that use a seemless technology so I tried them out. They are made by a South African company called Belega Sport. I am hooked on these socks. Anyone else using them? They offer some very specific fits for supinators and pronators.

I'm a big fan of the sock company that Gu uses, which is DeFeet.  They are thick enough to avoid blisters but still not too hot.

I don't have any experience with the ones you've mentioned.

After reading some articles on this site i've just started using Injinjii toe socks and all of my blisters are going away.  I found it amazing how much money i've spent searching for the "perfect" sock.

Glad you found yours and thanks for the info.  I ran by a fleet feet yesterday near downtown Annapolis.  Looking forward to checking out the store and their goods.

I use whatever.  Even all cotton.  No real issues.

OMG!  Yes, Balega is the BEST!!!

It is all I buy and I recommend them to everyone.  They have different styles;  the ones I get are not too thick, not too thin, and you never feel the seam.   Perfect!

Balega socks are awesome- I've never had a problem with no matter which style I get!!  I heart Belaga socks

I've been using Balega socks for a few months.  I love them.  I have a few different styles depending on how far I'm running and how hot it is.  They are all great.

I also love the Balega socks.

I have only once gotten a blister from running, and that was from cycling socks.

You all are killing me   Now I gotta head out at lunch and find a pair of these socks to try.   Always up for something new and saw a new Fleet Feet store here in town last week.  I've been happy with the DeFeet and Pearl Izumi's, but need a few more pairs as laundry is always behind.

I like Balegas too....but if I am going on really long runs or off road, I will take my Injinjis.

Balega! I have several pairs and always wear those on my longer runs. They've held up very well in the wash, haven't lost their shape which means there is less flabby material to bunch up. I highly recommend them!

I must be in the minority here, because I have a pair of Balega socks and the few times I have worn them on runs, my toes went numb. When I switched back to my old standby Thorlo's...no toe numbness. I think it may be the thinness of the Balega sock that doesn't agree with my feet. I use the thickest Thorlo sock on the market...the #3 running crew. I've tried countless other brands of socks, including the Injinji toe socks, Smartwool Phd's, Wigwam Ironman, and Balega...and I always end up going back to the Thorlo's. I guess my feet like the thicker cushioning of the Thorlo socks.

I'm part of the regular ol' sock group   I do have a pair of Thorlos that someone bought me as a present.  They're OK, but I lose socks too frequently to buy special ones!

I've never had any problems with my socks, but with all of the sock praises, now I'm wondering if I'm missing out on something

Ditto. I have socks that I like for running and some that I don't, so I wear them for trainer rides, or whatever. I'm not partial to a particular brand. In general, I prefer the thin, stretchy tech-material kinds, not more fluffy kinds, esp. when it's hot out. For cooler/cold weather running, I love Smartwool socks.

They are the only socks I'll use for running.

I love Balega's.  Husband loves Balega's.  I hate when I get to the gym and find I have a pair of husbands size large Balega's!

Balega's rock!!  When I went to my running store for the first time to get a pair of running shoes the first thing they did was put me in pair of those socks AND only then did I get to run/video'd on the treadmill, etc to find the right shoe----needless to say I couldn't leave with just my new shoes---I NEEDED the Balegas----nice soft/bottom and super thin breathing/wicking tops make my feet VERY happy!!!  The sales lady even said she has to send a few pairs a month to friends in other states because they can't get them but want them....

I bought my first pair of Belega's at FleetFeet two years ago and they are the only socks I wear.  Love 'em.

Oh and before that, I only wore Thorlos!

Socks?  What are those?  I run sockless except in the winter when it is cold, then I use the sock guy socks mostly.
