Expert 1076 Las Vegas, NV | Subject: RE: Wicked Werewolves Team Thread Hey fellow wolves! My name's Todd and I've got a swimming, biking, and running problem That wasn't so bad, I feel better now. Many names on our team that I don't know, so a good chance to meet more fellow BTer's! My posted goal is 50 miles of running for the month, although I think I'll up that to 55 since I went over my goal for last month. Anyone have ideas for our team logo? Below are are few clipart images I found browsing. I can put together a team table once we decide on a background.

I kind of like the one on the bottom - it must be those red eyes or something, but I'm game for whatever everyone else things. Go Wolves!

Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: Wicked Werewolves Team Thread Morning, Wolves! AWOOoooOOOoooOOO ... I'm a dog trainer (and work for Mad Dogg Athletics--that's the Spinning(R) company) so I will help to keep you all in line! Who'm I kidding, I'm just trying to keep myself in line. Those of you I know, I absolutely adore, and those of you I will come to know, I am sure for the same. I start training this week for the L.A. Marathon (it'll be my seventh) ... will probably do some X-training in bike and swim, but mostly I'm focusing on running. Coming off an illness and running is just sweet and simple. Super good luck to us all!!! |

Champion 5312 Calgary | Subject: RE: Wicked Werewolves Team Thread Hi, I am Darren, and I want to run faster and longer, hopefully both at the same time. That being said, my goal this month is 100 miles, I have made that once or twice before, so I do not think it will be an issue. Not really a challenge in that I can't put in the time or miles, just something to keep me accountable. My "Plan" is 3 10ks a week plus a long run on the weekend, I figure I can then miss a couple workouts here and there and still make the goal. To start the month I am taking a day off, nice eh? I love our names, we rock, I saw our name and I was like, "that is the coolest name out there", and it is, I am not just saying that because I am on the team, I mean I probably wouldn't say it if I wasn't on the team but I would feel bad for not being on the coolest sounding team. Yeah. So time to get to work, unless your me, in which case that time is not until tommorow. |

Extreme Veteran 375 Middleville, MI | Subject: RE: Wicked Werewolves Team Thread I am guessing I am the new guy of the group. Haven't been around long and this is my first challenge. I figured I didn't want to start off the month with a zero so I managed to slip in a 5k after work even though I got home a little bit late. Only 57 well 56.9 miles to go....woo hoo. Might have to download Werewolves in London on the MP3 for a little motivation for the month. |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: Wicked Werewolves Team Thread Hey Wolfies! Just a quick pop in. I'll be going to sunny Fla tomorrow for a long weekend so won't be able to chat with the dogs to meet you all. Here is me in brief: Robin, "adult onset triathlete". 48 yrs old, I came off the couch in Feb and finished my very first sprint last month. I live in NC, I'm married and evil step-mom to 2 colllege age kids, a dog (who thinks she is a wolf) and a cat (who KNOWS he is a lion). I'm in for 50 this month and have a 1/2 marathon in two weeks. oops, what was I thinking? I have never run farther than a 10K in my life.. we'll see. Have fun and keep HOOWWWWLING. (I downloaded wolf and dog songs to the Ipod last night Just for kicks). |

Expert 666 St. Thomas, ON | Subject: RE: Wicked Werewolves Team Thread Hi guys. I'm Jean, and I've been out of the tri scene for a couple seasons--work, family, and a lazy butt have conspired to make me too busy for workouts, etc. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things, so thought joining a challenge would be a good start. I'm signed up for the Muskoka 70.3 next September, so I've got a year to get back in shape. I'm in for 35 miles--isn't much, but if I can accomplish it, I'll be doing good. I travel for work 3 days a week, so most of my running will be Thursday through Monday, when I'm home.

Master 1675 Suwanee, Ga. | Subject: RE: Wicked Werewolves Team Thread Morning guys. I'm Steve and I am in for 90 miles this month. I have a half marathon later this month and am training for my first full mary in Jan. at Disney. I recognize some of the names here and I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of you. BTW...Please don't think that all southerners (especially those of us from Atlanta) are all like that Mila girl...she just has a mean streak because her parents dressed her funny and made her wear those ugly PINK tennis shoes Steve Edited by Reno8 2008-10-02 8:04 AM |

Extreme Veteran 1329 Wausau WI | Subject: RE: Wicked Werewolves Team Thread Hi all, I think I put down 120 miles, but I walk my dog 3 miles a day so that makes up a lot of my miles. Getting ready for the ski season so I will be doing some roller skiing, never did find out if I could count those miles as running miles. But I will still be able to get at least a couple runs in per week. Having sinus surgery on 10/24 so no working out for 2 weeks after that, except walking the dog. So I will have to make sure I have my miles in by then.

Elite 5316 Alturas, California | Subject: RE: Wicked Werewolves Team Thread KellyM I think you are lost this is not the Swim challenge, it is the Run challenge. You can go float in the lake or better yet swim. Hias all, wonder why I got put on the wolf team.... In any case I am off the couch 1 year now and just finished my first HIM on Sunday so I am easing back into things. I am in for 90 miles, hopefully we don't get any snow this month. I also start off the month with a day off and then a lite bike day. I am sure it will all workout in the wash. I don't have any races planned at the moment, but may consider a January full mary (would be my first, yikes half is bad enough). I am not sure how to fit in that much running into my schedule when I suck so much in swim and bike as well 8). The big plans for me at the moment are building an addition and putting in a swimspa.... nope not spoiled one bit. Hopefully that will help me get past this 2:00 per 100 pace. (although having learned freestyle in June I am actually happy with my swim pace for now). Anyway look forward to this challenge, haven't not met a challenge goal yet 8).
