Subject: Pre-SOMA BT Lunch?
How about a BT get together on Saturday before SOMA for lunch?  Packet pick up is from 10-5, so if we meet up at noon, you can either get your packet before or after lunch.  How about we meet under the arch of the park entrance on the corner of Mill and Rio Salado at noon, and then we can walk down Mill and decide where to have lunch. Does that sound like a good idea? Or does anyone have other thoughts?  There are usually some BTrs from out of state who come to do SOMA, so it would be nice to have a meet up.  Let me know.

You have to do it yourself.

I think you can do it the morning of, but it will be slower and I'd contact them first.

Edit: Here is the section from the website:

LATE PACKET PICK UP: If you can not make it to packet pick-up...follow these instructions... We will offer the morning of the race packet pick up service. Please contact Sharon no later than Thursday, October 23th by 5:00 pm pst to hold your spot. Otherwise, we might give your slot away. All unclaimed packets will be considered a no show by the Red Rock Staff.

That was because he was still fuming about being booted from the race - no need to call if you wait under the bridge with Tanya!

Under the ARCH! Under the bridge is a whole different location, and not where I'll be!

Well, if you read my first post you will find the info you are looking for.  Am I going to have to start calling you Mirg?

Time: noon

Where: Meet under the park entrance arch on Mill and Rio Salado.  We will decide where to walk to on Mill Ave to eat.  (Or determine a location ahead of time on here).

Which bridge has the Arch?  Is that the Mill Street bridge?  And what time frame are you thinking about?

Please do not refer to it as 'Mill Street'    - - it is Mill Avenue

I'm going to be in the same boat.

1) I'll have to get a training session in that morning
2) I'll probably have the kids

If that's cool, I will definitely try to make it.

What? You don't have sheep just hanging around your back yard? I thought everyone did. I bet you are one of those strange people who have a toilet inside your house too.

Apparently this guy didn't have sheep in his backyard either, so he had to go to his neighbors house.
