Wildflower Triathlon - Long Course - Triathlon1/2 Ironman

Comments: Other than difficulty seeing with the goggles, I felt pretty good out in the race, although the start and the finish were a bit of a zoo. What would you do differently?: Get better goggles! Never had a fog problem like this before!  Transition 1
Comments: Horrible time! Had a very difficult suit removal, guess I needed more practice! What would you do differently?: practice...  Bike
Comments: Biking is my weak link, and I'm very happy with this! What would you do differently?: Something was clanging.....for 56 miles. Need to look into this! Transition 2
Comments: family in transition didn't help with the actual transition ;-) - but they were supportive and exciting! What would you do differently?: no family, better lay out of equipment.  Run
Comments: Much harder than I thought it would be...I really underestimated it. Some tummy issues near the end. What would you do differently?: Think on the nutrition more, practice more in the hills. Post race

We camped! Not my favorite thing to do anyway, but not an option at this event. Packed up all of our gear at the campsite, and rode our bikes down about a mile to the transition area.
It poured Friday as we arrived, set up camp, etc. Nice sound on the tent, but very much added to my first-tri anxiety!
