I am about 90% certain that I will be signing up for CdA on Monday ... as some might recall, I signed up for the 2007 race and trained for it through the winter all the way up to the day before St. Anthony's - when I got hit by a car and had my clavicle broken six weeks before the race. The rod/hardware put into my shoulder precluded me from swimming until the following Labor Day weekend. So in the end, I trained for the race but never got to do it ... long way of saying that crossing the finish line at CdA will be sweeter than ever! |

One part of me wants to tackle another IM, another part has the usual worries (family time, work, cost) plus wondering if I'll be able to stay healty. (I'm coming off a fractured sacrum, and only started running again this month after three months off.) I haven't been able to find any updated information online about next year's race. I.e. what is the specific race date and will the registration costs be the same as this year? |

It is just the cost of the whole thing. . that and the fact that I have to dish out $550+ now and I am not even done with Louisville for this year. The date for IMCDA 2010 is June 27th. As for cost, I don't know. |

I sure hope the weather is better next year...I was out there for a good part of the day and I was thinking that the IM race is tough enough but with the cold and the wind and rain it made me think a few times about next year.
