Nose down = bad. I tried that. It actually wasn't terrible in aero, but anytime you sit up you will struggle to stay in the seat. The Selle San Marcos Tri Island or whatever that came with my P2C-sl sucks, so I have an ISM Adamo coming in to alleviate the discomfort. I was getting more used to the terrible saddle, but it is still uncomfortable, so I'm looking forward to the upgrade.
I know most advise against it, but I have the nose of my saddle pointed slightly down. As zomvito says above, it definately is more comfortable to me in the aero position (which I am in 95% of the time when I ride my Cervelo P2 SL ). On my road bike I have the saddle level...
I have tried the saddle level on my tri bike, and it definately feels less comfortable. I haven't really had any problem sliding forward, so that is the way I ride it. Never had any problems with numbness either way though. |
