Master 1963    |  Subject: How much is your bike worth?As your bike sits on the rack in T1 in a race (race wheels, all the gear, all the goodies), how much is it worth (what you paid for it, not what it costs retail)? |

Cervelo Dual 1300 when I bought it,,, won a sweet new aero bar from here. $200 - upgraded brakes 400 - used H3 front wheel,, (shipping included) $800- Power tap rear wheel 75 - disc cover so not quite 2800... but it's not the bike that slows me down it's me,, actually I didn't realize that my wheels are nearly as much as the bike |

Heh, at The Prouty last weekend, there were around 3,000 cyclists doing the ride. I was there riding my mountain bike on the walk portions as safety. Even my partner with a tricked out mtn ride was NOT worried about leaving his bike! Kinda nice being around a lot of high dollar machines, when yours isn't... |
