Re: TTP tanner cw1 (chicken wing). The bet has been set. Thecaptin gets 5 minutes lead time (plus whatever lead he gets on the swim-and for those of you that don't know he's FOP and I'm BOP swimmer) and if he can beat me down, I will buy him beer and eat the string of inspires printout leading to the bet.

If I beat him by >5 minutes, he will do what I described instead of me.

I am willing to take on other folks in this bet. The terms are I will donate 10$ to organ transplant foundation in ga for everyone that is willing to bet me the same (IOW thecaptin wins I donate, phatknot wins you donate).

Put your bets down on this thread. If either of us pulls out to injury or whatev, the donation part of the bet goes to the non-withdrawing person (IOW phatknot pulls out, phatknot pays off all the donations/bets).

Sounds fun...I'm guessing with a 5 minute lead, thecaptin may be able to take this bet...

Cappy has worked hard this offseason. Put in alot of running and has put in some pretty decent volume...

Can't discount the Phat, though...monster volume and competitive. Dangerous combo...

I've got $10 on the captin.  He has been training really well this winter and should do well at the race.  You on the other hand are a head case.

So, the throw down has been set...let's do some math...1;10;51 last year with a terrible swim...take 2:30 off because i simply will not blow it knowing there is a good beer at the end of the race...1:08:21...i will gain 1:30 on the bike over last year...1:06:51...I will run :20 seconds faster...1:06:31...SLAYER better plan on 1;01:31 or faster. If he does that given his swimming challenges, he more than earns the beer and I have no problem eating crow.   However, I love beer. :-)

I like your chances Captin.  Harvey is going to suck in the water, crush the bike, and die on that hill just before the turn around.  I think I will need to be standing about half way up the hill so he can see me smile when he starts walking.

Take a look at my weaksauce brick today thecaptin. Thats low z3 at 23.3 mph. You know on a bad day I can run 19s even with hills. My swim ain't that bad (its nowhere near yours) but I can give you a few mins there and still whomp you.

Asides from LisaB, CUBE, and the brown dogs, who wants some!?! You don't need to bet on me. Its a worthy cause!
