Subject: What magazines do you subscribe to?

I'm a magazine freak (well, it's also my vocation -- I do print production for magazines), and I subscribe to way too many magazines.  Certainly more than I can ever read.  I recently stopped several subscriptions, just to eliminate some clutter and stress...

Publications I currently receive:
- Cooking Light
- Experience Life (my favorite)
- Ode (great magazine full of uplifting and inspirational news and stories from around the world)
- National Geographic
- National Geographic Adventure
- Outside
- Outside Traveler

Inside Triathlon and Bicycling.

We used to get Cooking Light, but we bought a few of the cookbooks and ditched the magazine. Much more practical.

Subscribe to:

  • Triathlon
  • Inside Triathlon
  • Time
  • The Economist
  • Sunset ( great recipes! )
  • Fortune ( hey, it was free )

I read frequently but don't subscribe to:

  • Discover
  • Scientific American
  • Wired

And likewise, I don't manage to read all of them all of the time.

Motorcycle Road Racing (letting it expire)
Acoustic Guitar (letting it expire)

I see a lot of bicycling and running magazines here. Are there no swimming magazines? And what types of articles would be in a swimming magazine? Pool Of The Month (travel)? Monthly Open Water Temperature Charts? Goggle Reviews? Maybe someone is missing a goldmine here!

Not only is it cheaper for you, but it helps the magazine get more $$ from their advertisers and keeps them in business, since their ad rates are based on their subscription base.

  • Occasionally I'll pick up Cosmo or Glamour, it's like my dirty little secret.

Mags are fun.
