State of the Union

Me either. I was sleeping before 8:45.

Ditto, only more like 8:30. Some people have to TRAIN in the morning.

I was in bed at 8:30, sleeping not soon after. I slept in, sleep deprived. I had the thought to go workout at 5:15, but I went back to sleep...

I didn't catch it either, but here's one way to describe the State of the Union:

OBESE

If nothing else I think we can all agree that this is a national catastrophe, and while the role of government in combatting this problem can (and will be) debated endlessly, I applaud the POTUS for his personal commitment to physical fitness and the model he provides to the nation.

I'm a political junkie and I find SOTU's unwatchable.  I read a great description for them:

It's like going to the White House website on a 14.4 kbs connection.

I missed it because I was hangin' with Jack Bauer, breaking up terrorist cells around DC.  We saved the president's life about 6 times last night.

That's why today is a rest day for me.  Jack went into work.

Apathy reigns supreme for the State of the Union.

I was in BT Chat and plowing my way through a giant plate of pasta.  It tasted better than the speech.

I was in a Pilates class.

State of the Onion is a pointless exercise.  It's all rhetoric and hot air.
