And my dealer is dry! I have never seen the show before and I just got a trainer. So I figured that I would rent TV shows to watch to help me get through the boredom. Well I was going to rent Lost but they were all out so I rented the first DVD of season 1 of 24. Holy crap, I was back at blockbuster looking for another hit in no time. I watched 16 shows in 3 days and now I go back to blockbuster to rent the final 2 DVD's in the season and they are out! What am I going to do! Is there a support group out there? I don't want to rent anywhere else because Blockbuster has the whole no late fees thing and I NEVER return movies on time. So I rented Lost to watch on the trainer this morning and the whole time I was thinking about Jack and how he was going to find his wife who all of a sudden has amnesia!

I think I'll go back today or stop at another blockbuster on the way home. Good news is I'm getting my a$$ on the trainer a lot more and I have 3 more seasons plus the 8 hours left of this one (about 80 hours total) on DVD left to watch

I hear you. I'd never seen the show either, A friend lent me Season 1 to watch a couple of weeks ago, I was hooked! I watch 12 straight hours on a sunday and was done with the season in two days. I'm trying not to watch season 2 for awhile, I think I fried my brain watching that much TV.

Ya... my new goal is no 24 unless I'm riding on the trainer.  This is going to take serious self restraint

Yep. Its crack and perfect to watch on the trainer too.

Enjoy! You have 4 seasons to catch up on!

Now just imagine if you had to watch it 1 hour at a time, once per week, for 24 weeks. That's crack

Watching it on DVD is supercrack.

I was thinking about that! My god... If all I got was one episode and had to wait another week to see the next my head would explode! It like putting your self through torture. But the pay off is so good Luckily I don't have cable and the one channel that we do pick up is fuzzy. So it's all DVD's for me.

All the previous years we've had to deal with weeks off while other things like holidays happened.  Drove me so nuts I didn't watch it one year.  Now this year is a nonstop season, meaning at least we can count on it every week.

When they left a cliffhanger at the end of an episode and I had to wait three weeks for the next one it was like I was the guy in the Scream painting.  Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

I think I need to start renting this show.

I ran out of episodes with my last 'crack' show, Six Feet Under. Have to wait for the next season to come out. AAAAARRRGH!

If you're only going to watch it on the trainer, you might want to put a cooler down next to your bike full of Gu's, Gator-aid, pretzels, and icy pops cause you're going to be on the that thing all night...lol.

I've only started watching at the beginning of last season and I've seen bits and pieces of other season on A & E.  I really need to rent them.   But I don't have a trainer, so what to do???

Buy a trainer. Otherwise you'll waste a whole weekend watching and catching up and you will not want to workout.

I can!

I don't have cable, so I have the same crack addition as you.

A couple of years ago, I watched seasons 1 & 2 and I watched too many episodes in a row, so I took a break. I finished season 3 a couple months ago. Same problem. I am waiting for season 4 to move out of the new release section.

I can honestly say that I've never seen a minute of it.  I know I'd be addicted if I watched it, so I'm trying my best to avoid it.

Which means I'll end up renting every episode ever made eventually.

I was the same - a 24 Virgin up until Season 5 started. I watched the first 4 episodes of season 5 and was hooked. So then I went and rented Season 1 (00:00 to 8:00 a.m.). My wife and I got through them in about 4 days (we have young kids so can only watch the show after they are in bed). Went back last weekend and they didn't have any other DVD's in stock for Season 1. Found Season 1 at Walmart for $29.00 (Steal of a deal). Other seasons go for $60 or more....

I loved that episode where Chloe kicked butt. When Chloe was introduced (season 3 I think) I didnt like her at all, but now she is my 3rd favorite character (besides Jack and Tony).

24 is really the most addictive show on TV. Every episode ends with those cliffhangers, and when you have the DVDs you can just keep on watching. You really have to pace yourself with those, or you'll wind up watching them all night long.
