Within the 1st 5 miles, beware of a few spots that will eject your rear hydration bottles out of their respectful holders. The back stretch can have some good cross wind at times. Be ready for some tar strip madness for the past portion of the ride.

But also know that the bumps on the first 5 miles will rattle almost anything loose...i lost my aerodrink there a couple of years back. Other than that, pray for cool weather! |

Much better than what we have in Brunswick County anyway. |

I am now going to HAVE to go down there and at least drive the course because if you say 41 is fast and smooth then it must have been repaved since last year. No way anyone would say 41 was smooth from the condition it was in last year. Alan |

Coming out of the FFA center was good, the portion of White Lake Road was not so great and then a few parts of 53 coming back were a little rough. Other than that I thought the course was pretty good and smooth. |
