 Austin, Texas or Jupiter, Florida |  Subject: Favorite movies of all time.I was thinking about Ben Hur earlier only to do a channel search and find out that it comes on tonight on TCM. It has been my favorite movie since I was 13 and sat next to my father watching it on Easter Saturday. Anyone else have a movie that stands out above all others? |

I grew up on John Wayne movies every Saturday. Paid a quarter for a movie and a popcorn. Hard to pick a specific favourite but Stagecoach and She Wore a Yellow Ribbon were pretty good. I also liked All Quiet on the Western Front (either version). I may have to watch Godfather I & II soon and I'll have to check out Idiocracy and re-watch To Kill a Mocking Bird. While Planet of the Apes was on another channel today I watched "Paul". |

So many great films 12 Angry Men, Dr. Strangelove, Monty Python's Holy Grail, Rocky I, Star Wars 4-6, Raiders of the Lost Ark I, Back to the Future I, Platoon, The Naked Gun, Braveheart, Titanic, The Sixth Sense. There are so many other great movies out there, but the ones I listed above really stick out to me as "great" movies. |
