I was thinking about Ben Hur earlier only to do a channel search and find out that it comes on tonight on TCM. It has been my favorite movie since I was 13 and sat next to my father watching it on Easter Saturday.

Anyone else have a movie that stands out above all others?

There isn't enough time or space or hours to make a list.
My family has always been a movie family. Our movie night started in the 70's on old reel projectors.
Then there are the movies I've seen over 100 times.
Where to start.. What to include

The Godfather and II. Pinnacles of the art of movie making, and damn entertaining.

Godfather II is pretty good. But the sheer numbers in Ben Hur are incredible. Cast of thousands.

Now they'd CGI that stuff.

Good taste gents!  I had the privilege of watching Planet of the Apes with my son for the 1st time earlier today!  I love that movie.  Charlton Heston is excellent in it.

Ditto.  I grew up on John Wayne movies every Saturday.  Paid a quarter for a movie and a popcorn.  Hard to pick a specific favourite but Stagecoach and She Wore a Yellow Ribbon were pretty good.

I also liked All Quiet on the Western Front (either version).

I may have to watch Godfather I & II soon and I'll have to check out Idiocracy and re-watch To Kill a Mocking Bird.

While Planet of the Apes was on another channel today I watched "Paul".

I'm having too hard a time narrowing it down to just one movie.  So many great films

12 Angry Men, Dr. Strangelove, Monty Python's Holy Grail, Rocky I, Star Wars 4-6, Raiders of the Lost Ark I, Back to the Future I, Platoon, The Naked Gun, Braveheart, Titanic, The Sixth Sense.

There are so many other great movies out there, but the ones I listed above really stick out to me as "great" movies.

Not big box-office flicks, so not sure anyone else has seen them--

Close to Eden, The Gods Must be Crazy, The Cup

No spectacular special effects, bedroom scenes, or car chases, just intriguing looks at very different ways of life.

If I'm flipping through the tv and any of the following are on I have to stop and watch so I guess these are my favorites.

Shawshank redemption
Braveheart
Saving Private Ryan
Good Will Hunting
Forest Gump

Gods must be crazy is a classic. Good one.

Raiders of the Lost Ark is up there on my list as well.
