Morning Everyone

Got in 13 miles on the trainer last night Boy oh boy was I slow, I was down just over 3 MPH and I was giving her all I had ,even my avg cadence was down 10%, being sick sucks. Hoping to get out at lunch for a run today in between snow flurries with any luck.

Have a great day all

Hope you get that Pie Teech but knowing math teachers  you will probably have to settle for Donuts. Wink

How to celebrate? 3,140 meters in the pool this morning? Egads, OCD working overtime on this one. 8 mile run this afternoon.

Good morning.

Missed my 0500 swim again, sleeping in has become a habit for me.  Going to get it done around 1030 plus a 45 minute bike after work.

Have a great day!

3.14 mile tempo run this morning (with my wife - which was awesome) and 0.9 miles of cooldown.  Wink

Taking the rest of the day off after a triple yesterday (r/b/s - a reverse tri over the day) and a 5k on Saturday - in the rain and snow again (can't buy a break with the racing weather yet!).

Have a great day all!  Off to cook some dessert for the family - guess what we're having today.

What are ya'll talking about work-outs? I was hoping to hear great stories about Pies you ate?

I will need to pick one up on my way to or from the gym (at which I will run easy 3-4 (3.14?) miles) and do a little swim workout

Happy Pi Day!

The race taper has started for me...best part of the entire training plan.

2400 in the pool, mostly easy, 1 hour spin on the trainer.

OK so why are runs like a box of chocolates you just never know what you are going to get. I got out for a run at lunch as you can see from the above post this morning, I was complaining about the trainer ride performance last night, so I head out for 4 miles in 25 degree weather  ( wind chill 15) and run the fastest 4 miles I have run in 3 years by like 2 and a half minutes, Just left me scratching my head  I double checked the data just to make sure its was  good the loop is half into and half wind at your back so that shouldn't have affected anything. If I had been taking meds I would chalk it up to PED"S, but I havent taken anything in 3 days. You Just never Know

I am not complaining , I just wish I could figure it out how the heck to repeat it. LOL

Anyway have a great day all, I sure am.

I made two mini pies - blueberry and apple. Small sizes keep calorie counts down low. These were 205-210 each. I ate apple today, AFTER my Masters Swim session.
