Subject: Searching for a 70.3 coach for race in October 2017 in TN
Hi! I'm currently searching for a triathlon coach to complete my first half ironman distance at the Toughman 70.3 in TN (October 7, 2017).

A little history about me:
I'm a 30-year-old female, married to the military, and we have a two-year-old girl and a baby boy due in January. After my first child, I was able to be back in sprint triathlon competition shape within 4 months (and I hadn't worked out at all during the pregnancy).

I've completed multiple sprint and olympic distance races, always ending middle-of-the-pack (with a smile on my face!).

I'm looking for a coach who can help me out with a specific plan from about mid-February to the race in October. I'd like to throw in a couple of shorter races during that time. I don't know how much that usually costs, being military we don't have a ton of spending money, so I'm happy to pay some and then just pad your resume with social media posts and success!!

I'm extremely motivated for this. Please contact me if you can help!!

I sent you a PM too, but you can check out my site http://triathlonpal.com/coaching/ for info! There's a couple options there.

For anyone else reading this and looking for a coach, I'm a new coach just getting my coaching business up and running. I am a teacher in my day job, so I take that philosophy to my coach in that I don't just want you to follow a plan I write for you, but help you understand why you should do certain workouts and what the results should be. The whole why and how go a long way in helping athletes progress. I have seen that a lot in helping coaching a local High School cross country team. It's more than just assigning workouts.

Also, for your particular situation, I also have a 2 year-old have a second one due in January! So I understand the unique needs of a parent... even if it's from the Dad side instead of the mom side

I'm sure that you've heard this time and time again but bouncing back from a 2nd child isn't as easy as the first.

If it takes a couple extra weeks to bounce back don't fret, you'll get there. Took my wife more time from the 2nd than it did the 1st.

It's an amazing thing that women do. Sounds like you have a solid plan. Go for it!
