Well I Was doing really well on my goals but I was in an auto accident last Thursday. I was unconscious for a bit and spent 10 or so hours in the trauma ER. I didn't know my name, age etc for the first hour or so.
I am not back to training yet, hope to know more after Internist appt. Monday.
I may need a goal revision, will update when I have some direction.
Mary

So sorry to hear you were in an accident.  Take the time to rest and heal up.  You've proven to be one tough cookie so I'm sure you'll be at it again so enough.

5.2 miles.  It was supposed to be a 7ish mile run, but I rolled my ankle on a bank in the side walk, which brought my run to a halt.  It doesn't seem too bad.  I can jog on it still.  Hopefully it will hold up well enough for my long run this weekend.

Oh drat. I used to roll my ankles ALL THE TIME. Hate that. Agree - RICE. Don't push it this weekend and listen to your body.

5 mile run for me today. I wish I could run as long as I can swim! I am thinking that seems backwards .

Glad you had a good run and the hip is better. No greater feeling than coming off injury and having a good workout. Just be careful.

Thanks for the nice words everyone. It has been scary. First wreck I have ever had, first concussion, first loss of consciousness. I have had some cognitive slowness since then. It will be good to be checked out further next week. I hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Sideline the last 2 days with back pain. Woke up feeling ok this morning but a queasy stomach. Back pain came back but at a tolerable level.

I'd say it must be!      Maybe if  I rolled my ankle, then I could run 14 miles!  ... but it probably doesn't work that way.....

But I did get in 5.9

I'm being careful with the ankle, but as long as I can feel like I can go, then I'm going to give it a shot!

I am SEVERELY behind in updating my training log and the spreadsheet. I will try to get to that today or tomorrow. I keep a journal with my training so I just need to sit down at home and hit the computer.

GO GHOULIES!
