Subject: RE: Loving every mile aka L.E.M.D it is all good. Your workout logs look jam packed you are gona make great progress if you dont overdue it 8 ). 4 months ago a 1 mile run was a long run for me, oh wait thats right I wasnt running at all at that point. Then my first 5k without walking was uber, etc. 10 miles for me today is still like wow for me, did I really do that?
Although when I look at some of these folks who have been training for 2 + years ya it seems pretty amazing, and it is. Triathalon training is a path, a way of being in the world, a lifestyle, a journey. We are all in our own place on the path and if we stay on the path and continue to work at it we will improve... and that's what makes it fun. Even if you tell you wife you ran a 5k and are beat on one day and say you got a great time in your first triathlon and she looks at you with one of those "I am trying to appreciate what you have accomplished, but I really have no idea so um well, that's nice dear."
At any rate grats and keep at it, the trick is to not attempt to build Rome in a day, that would cost alot of money and where would you put it.
Running, biking and swimming really long distances, losing 30 pounds and amazing one's friends is way better than watching whatever the sitcom of the moment is where that guy cheats on that girl and she finds out and gets mad at him and they have a falling out, but then get back together and then he cheats on her and they have a falling out and then they get back together and then that other one where that girl cheats on that guy......
