push-ups week5 day1: 17, 19, 15, 15, 30 (max)

I have no idea, how I was able to max out at 30 and the requirement was 20.... I just felt very strong today... I guess skipping yesterday actually did me good.

Have a great day everybody!!!

Great job starting week 5!  Just remember that on day 2 of week 5 it goes to 8 sets instead of the normal 5.

It's Sunday afternoon, and I finally got my Friday pushups in:

Week 3 day 3: 22, 30, 20, 20, 35.

I did goof though and did the second set as 20, then 10 more when I checked the list.  oh well.  the final 35 were good - last five really were tough.  35 is a good number, just over 1/3 of the goal - 100.

We'll see if I can do the Monday work out tomorrow.  Some day I probably ought to do some tri workout's too.

I'm such a slacker!  I was supposed to do week 5 day 3 today but instead what did I do?  You guessed it ~ I slacked.  Actually, my back has been bothering me so I decided to take an extra days rest but I will be back tomorrow!

Week 4 day 1 : 21, 25, 21, 21, 25.

There was a minimum of 32 for the last set, but I couldn't get there.  Probably due to postponing Friday's work out till yesterday.  Oh well, still got a day in.  Abs sore today and pecs tired.

Just curious, because I am in Week 4 and I looked at my sheet and those numbers don't match up with what options there are for the Wk 4, Day 1...even in the third column. Am I missing something?

That being said, Week 4 is in the bag for me. Have to do my exhaustion test this week while I'm on a ski trip, hoping to get 50-55 knocked out for that.

When we did our initial test, some people did more than what showed in the actual week so they start in the appropriate block/week and just consider it their week 1 then go from there!  I hope that answers your question and I didn't confuse you!

Went for the 100 last night and was able to do 108!!!! Knocked through the 1st 80 fairly easily and then had to buckle down a bit from there. Now I just need to figure out a good maintenance plan as I don't want to lose the gains I've made.

Congratulations!!!

I've been wondering the same thing on maintenance. I really love the changes I'm seeing in my strength and body since starting this challenge, and want to figure out a way to continue to challenge myself and maintain the gains I've made once I finish.

I think I'm going to generally cycle through the last 3 weeks or so of the program in order to keep some fitness.

That's the only reason I'm doing this...for the badge!   Ok, maybe not the ONLY reason but I'll wearing it like a badge of honor ~ once I get there, of course!

You and I are back on the same track, Kathrin.  I'm doing my exhaustion test either today or tomorrow ~ I have to see how my arms are feeling this afternoon since they are sore from lifting the other day.
