Hey guys..got in another 30 yesterday.  I should be able to get out and ride at least 2 - 3 more of those.  That will push me to the 120% + range!!!  No problems here..except for the hormone imbalanced mother to be at home!  Who knew it would be such a needy situation!

I will meet and surpass my goal in an effort to make up for some of the others that may fall short.  We should ALL strive for at least 120%!!  I don't think just meeting your goal will solidify a VICTORY!!

KEEP RIDIN'!!!

I put off my swim to increase a scheduled 30 minute bike to 60 minutes. Currently at 91% of goal. 120% is looking doable.

From yesterday, good guys 74.27%, goblinesses 72.07%. Women are using that as motivation, so don't let up, everyone should be shooting for 120% and inspiring teammates to do the same.

I put off my swim to increase a scheduled 30 minute bike to 60 minutes.

Actually skipped my swim to get an extra hour (18.44 miles) on the bike, up to 377/334 or 113%.

Go 'boners!

Gee, and here I am training for TRIathlons, not skipping ANY training while still working towards my Bike Goal.

Maybe the ladies should ditch their TRI training and just MONOtrain.... Naaahhhhhh... that would be silly.

Actually, MadCow, we are preparing our "We kicked boy butts AGAIN AND didn't give up our TRI training" speech.

Looks like some of your teammates have given up being triathletes.

To appease Renee, I've started getting up with the chickens to get some quick morning rides in during the week before work so I can still get my swimming and running in after class gets out around 8 at night. Currently 123.5/150 (82.3%), but with all this talk of beer and cookies, I'm looking for 200.

Cat's out of the bag, Papa Bear. You're skipping your other training to get your ride miles in.

Busted!

Wrongo, chickadee. I'm getting my bike miles out of the way to focus on my other training for the rest of the month (that, and I'll be without the bike for 10 days, my next event is a century, not a tri).

Renee,

Honestly, it sounds like a concession speech. You complained to me when I asked you about your goal levels because you had a tender spot on the topic of sandbagging. Now that there is the possibility that the boys may win, it sounds like to me you may be making excuses. Come now, we all expect more from you of all people.

I looked at Bear's logs and he has trained for just over 40 hours this month. Of that, 7.75 hours have been for running and 5.25 have been for swimming. I think most would call that a pretty balanced approach to TRI training.

Ohhhh Mike, I don't expect the weaker sex to understand simple concepts (complex for some, it seems).

You just have to look cute in your cycling shorts! And you do too!

Nice response -- made me laugh good and hard. Seriously, it was very disarming. Keep pedalling because you will need your miles at the end of the month.

Shouldn't you be doing BOTH? You know... burn off that extra energy you've got these days?

Extra energy? All the energy that would, under ideal circumstances, go into a rabid sex life, has now gone into moving and packing. Ugggh. I really was going to swim last night after the bike ride but just couldn't. Way exhaustified.
