Not tooooo often. A few times a month?
I've had it for like 8 years but yeah, pretty light usage.

Off to coach some hockey after a long day at the range. It a tough work day when you have to shot 800 rounds of .223.

No, just our tactical team. Our snipers shot 308s.

2nd anniversary of my dad's passing.....just kinda being a Debbie Downer today.

Sad he never got to meet Reese and never got to see Jilian play soccer (he loathed soccer tho...)

When I did my sprint 3 weeks ago (you know....my AG award winning sprint) one of the race officials walked up and asked if I was Jim Donovan's son. When I said "yes?????" she said "because you look just like him"......

Man 3:00 a.m. just sucks.

I love you, too.

3:00am definitely sucks, only thing that's worth it is a race to get up for.

Morning YANTI!!!!  Are you getting close to race day?

9 days only 4 'til the day I leave. Your good-luck charm will of course accompany me!

Is there a YANTI sign up sheet for the day?

There will be soon ... just couldn't figure out if to put it in Tri Talk or here. Nobody's on BT anymore anyway!

Except for you guys. And it does seem like many of the kool kidz are here today.

HI TANglers!

Sorry for your loss a couple years ago, that does suck.

Your dad sounds like a stand-up, responsible guy. Seriously, what kind of loser shaves his head and grows chin pubes???

That's very sad.  I didn't live with my father but I found out where he lived.  My plan was to turn 16, get my license and go visit him since I had never met him.  He died 2 months before I turned 16 so I never did get to meet him.  I swore I would ALWAYS be there for my kids.  When I hear parents complain about having to sit through a 2hr event for their kids I just think to myself that it's unfortunate that bad experiences are sometimes what it takes to make you appreciate things.

Good Morning TAN

GULP I am now signed up for the Detroit Half Marathon on OCT 20th and I only have like 8 weeks to train. Just really started running again a week ago.

8 months off from Knee surgery and I am hoping it will be good.

I held a 30-minute telecon on speaker in my cube this morning - with another co-worker in my cube.
Take that batches! Maybe others will understand what it's like when they do this. Or maybe I'm just a jerk now. Either way.

Just got off another teleconference...  Blah

I have a performance review today.  Hate those and so does the company.  First one since I started 15 months ago?  They better not give me any crap because of all the people here, I feel like I'm doing more than my share, show up all the time, don't  d*ck around, have a good attitude...

My only strike is that I tend to roll in 10-15 minutes late.  But then usually take a 30-45 minute lunch.  But compared to the guy that calls in sick at least once a week?  Come on.

Dang it, just rediscovered one of my guilty pleasures.

They got little snack packs of Pringles chips for the office.  They are SO processed, but man I adore them.  Especially the cheddar cheese flavor...

Training our bodies to work efficiently in Zone 2 will help us keep our HR and pace even throughout an Ironman. This theory would hold true for the bike and run portion of an Ironman race.
