Second day in a row of waking up to yet more snow.   Friggin' "Lake Effect" snow. Ugh.

As old as the witch is, you'd think Mother Nature could spark up a few Hot Flashes and warm this place up, right????

From the other side of the weather spectrum, it finally looks like we'll be getting some decent rain on the west coast this week!

Hope you feel better soon....I got nothing. 

In the last week I went to San Diego and taught a course, got to see some friends, went to Coronado for a day where we rented bikes, flew home to my parents staying with me for 2 nights and visiting with the long lost relatives I see once every 2 years even tho I had been home less than 24 hours and was on ER call, not fun, and now sitting at work waiting for pts to show up. I LOVE it when people call and are all nasty and DEMAND a sooner appt for their bruise and then don't show up for their appts.  On the upside after my parents left I was able to go pick up my cats medication and get to the grocery store....SCORE.;  I know I am deadly dull.

Just a buncha losers, ha! 

I am getting hammered at work. By work. Not fun. 

But I look cute today, my outfit and hair are killing it. So I got that going.

I never thought I'd say this, but I miss dressing up for work... just a little bit

I feel like a hobo when I meet my friends for happy hour in crappy jeans and a t-shirt.

How the hell is work so freakin' busy when 3 out of the 4 lawyers I work with are all in California right now???  

I'm not even ON the cute scale today.  Jeans, boots, way baggy sweater, no make up and my hair in a low messy bun.  

We had an employee event with our CEO speaking today, so I stepped it up a bit. Black pencil skirt, electric blue blazer + blue/gold necklace. My blazer was in my first Stitch Fix box (MEH would be proud)! I have gotten so many compliments on it today!

And I'm jeally that you can wear jeans. We are lobbying for a jeans Friday once a month where you pay $5 that goes to charity, but it has not been approved yet. Pout.

We normally have jeans day on Friday, which is nice - I TRY to still keep it still somewhat professional-looking with nice sweaters/blouses and jewelry... but there are some that I swear look for the rattiest jeans they possibly have and wear those.  The ONLY reason why we have jeans days today and tomorrow is because of the single-digit (Fahrenheit) temperatures... apparently wearing jeans is supposed to make us feel better about coming to work in the frigid cold?  

jeans are far warmer than women's work pants!  those things suck!

Depending on traffic at the border (which can be either really good, or horrendous) - about a 3 hr drive from SeaTac to downtown Vancouver.

I thought that surely NOTHING could top Ethel Merman doing disco, or Pat Boone's "In a Metal Mood" album, but that song just RAWKS!  

Holy mother of stuff... that's... um... wow, I don't even know what to call something like that which had me snortling audibly at work and almost falling off my chair with laughter... incredible?  Is that the right word??
