Ever wonder what would happen to your body if you sneezed, hiccuped and farted all at the same time?

My guess is you might want to change your pants.  But I'm just speculating here.

Oh, morning.

Heh.  I wonder if it is even physically possible.

Dude - is this really what you think about during the day?

It is today.  Recovery day for me so I don't have to think about working out.    Then again, I guess I should really be thinking about work.

NAH!

TheSchwamm - 2008-07-25 7:55 AM Goooooooooooooooood morning.

Morning Schwamm. How are you today?

chlorinated Sorry about Crazy. Back away slowly. Then turn and RUN LIKE HELL. Seriously. No good can come of this.

Unfortunately, at this point, I may have train-wreck syndrome. Want to turn the other way, but just can't because it's sooooo weird to look at.

Sooooo she must be pretty hawt.

Well, she's definitely not ugly. I liked her in the beginning more on a "fun to do stuff and talk with" basis. Only person I've found lately with a similar take on a lot of subjects. Then a couple months later it descended into this.

Did anything specific cause her to want more space? Or was it you being 'wuss-boy' ?

Probably a combination of things. But I did make myself to accessible for things like "I need help lifting _______." or "How do I put together ________________?" But I don't think anything of stuff like that, because it's stuff I'd do for anyone.

Excellent - I have a table that needs to be put together and my stereo neds to be re-wried - can you be here Sunday around noon?

You paying for gas? If she doesn't have me scheduled to work at the animal shelter I may be able to come, but I may have to ask permission first.

Seriously, though...that is something she said we're going to do. Along with take her for a motorcycle ride before I sell my bike, and something else. I told her I've got a 2 hr 35mi+ bike ride on Sunday and if she can keep up she's welcome to come along.

Dude. Bad move. She'll come along, not keep up, and drag you down. You may say you'll drop her, but will you really?

Say she keeps up for an hour. You're out in the middle of nowhere. She starts to whine and complain and slow down. She's out of water and has no cell phone.

What do you do?

I said that jokingly, and told her I hold 18-19mph on my rides and that my 15 mile ride with her last night was at 13mph and that wouldn't work for my long rides. Plus she's not gone more than 15 miles, so it's a non-issue. Plus I'll be leaving before 7a.m. to get the ride in, she may be recovering from a hangover at that point.

Yep. She's going. And you won't drop her. She'll go just to prove to you that she can ride that long. Even if she only averages 13, she'll go, and you'll be too nice and not drop her like it's hot.

Dude, she's not going.  If I let her go I swear on my honor in front of all those who may see this TAN, including the lurkers (Yeah, I know you're out there), that I will get "World's biggest Wuss" tattooed across my back and "Yep, you're an f-ing idiot" tattooed backwards across my forehead so that I have to read it every time I look in the mirror.

I've sneezed and farted at the same time.  The funniest part was that it was during a flipturn.  TMI, yeah I know, but you'll get over it.  I think going for the trifecta would be difficult though.

So, question:

If we're against things like baby talk to other adults, and we assume that people here are adults (at least by physical age)....

Why on earth do we use words like "troof" and "lof"?

I missed the part where we assumed that "lof" is baby talk. It's more an accent thing.

pre-pubescent at best

I always took it as Kiley didn't want to use the word "love" because it should mean more than an emotion about an object. "Lof" is not so intense, not personal.

Shame there isn't another word. I would like for there to be another word.

Oh wait, lookie there.

This made me giggle.

I will drive to Davenport to watch.  However, I'm kind of thinking she won't show.  And what is wrong with a long ride at 13?  At least some of us take the time to train? (Sprint this was clearly not directed at you, but the little dbag who thinks he's something special 'cause he can pull 1/2 irons out of his butt.  Whatever.

when I was doing a century ride a couple of months ago  my GF said she wanted to go.. she's done a few sprints and her longest ride was around 30 miles...  She smoked me..until around milel 75ish when the lack of nutrition did her in.  But up till mile 60 she was always ahead of me.  She was dropped like a bad habit after mile 75 though, and was a bit miffed at me for making smart arse comments...

When was the last time Ryan did a long ride?  There is the answer to your question.

Lof,

A proud 13 long rider (seriously though it's more around 14, but still).
