I'm glad you cleared that up. I was going to be just a little frightened if you were already packed for a trip that is still 6-7 days away. I mean, we're all just a little type A, but come on... |

Any suggestions on how to get back to Wrightsville Beach from downtown after the race? Hint Hint 2. I am coming down with a little cold (running nose, light cough) and am thinking about getting a ZPack to knock it out before it turns into anything.......anybody a doctor on this board? 3. I am really wanting some pictures of the race...any family members willing to take my camera or send me some copies if they see me on the course? Thanks Guys! |

I'm in the same boat...I'm not sure if I will have a sherpa or not to help me back to my hotel in Wrightsville Beach. I will have the numbers for cab companies (on the B2B website under transportation) in my bag just in case...but will probably ask around after the race to see if anyone is heading in the same direction! As for the Z-pack, unless you already have a bacterial infection, that won't really help. If you simply have a viral upper respiratory tract infection (which is what it sounds like), antibiotics will make no difference. You can take over-the-counter cold remedies for your symptoms and then basically just rest. I think Vitamin C helps as well. |

We plan on parking my truck as close as possible to downtown/Battleship Friday night after dinner. We will catch a cab or a ride back to the beach Friday night, and catch the shuttle to T1 in the morning from the hotel. The truck will be close by after the race to take us back to the beach. |

Master 2202 Canton, Michigan | Subject: RE: Beach 2 Battleship : Official Thread I'd be happy to offer some parking spots at the rental but I don't even know what to expect. I know I should have an off street parking spot. Were on the corner of Ann and Front, right were the run course travels as it leaves downtown and from google maps .33 miles from the boat dock were we should be dumped off We'll let folks know what we have come Friday morning and if there's room there may be a parking spot or two available. |
