I'm still a member. not for lack of trying...

I had a date a couple monthes back with a girl who asked me out at the pool that went completely nowhere....

Her reason was she's really, really busy with work(and I'm not busy working and training for IM) but I was really cute, sweet yada yada yada...

I think its probably cuz I'm kind of a dork, kinda nerdy-ish and I 'don't get out enough' and maybe it shows-or maybe I talk about poop and pee, and eat like a slob cuz all my friends are endurance athletes and we sometimes lack manners and don't care

Heh.  That's how I feel.   I started talking about poop the other night and a few of the guys were like, "Okay, time to go."

Poop  happens.  Everyone does it.  Should be common conversation if you ask me...

No doubt! I was out to dinner with some people from my running club, and started talking with someone I hadn't really met before. Two minutes into the conversation we are talking about poop. I didn't think twice about it... she did mention something about how quickly we got to the subject, before getting back to talking about poop.

Suzanne, stay true to yourself girl!  Someone will surely appreciate you for who you are.

Funny story, I was talking to this girl after a race last year and wouldn't you know it we started talking about poop.  My immediate reaction was this girls a keeper!  So after I get home, I tell all my friends and family about this cool girl I met and tell them about all the stuff we chatted about and how/why I think she is a total keeper.  Well as soon as they all hear the reason, everyone is immediately grossed out and questioning why I would be attracted to someone who would talk about poop when they've just met you.  Obviously you can't explain it, but know that you're cool with it. 

Be yourself and you'll find that someone who thinks you're a keeper because you're kind of a dork that talks about poop

So now there is a chance at pizza   Good man!

It was for the studio where I work. And it was the best time ever. I wish I could have hair and makeup artists follow me around in my everyday life.

So what's the rules (for the thread I started :-P)  If you're dating someone - are you still single?!?!?

My answer is yes.  As long as they know you are dating others.  Just because you go out on a date or several dates does not make one committed.  It's all about open communication.

I meant more for the purpose of this thread - I didn't want to be violating RIOW rules :-D

Oh lord this is why i never had the relationship status! I did just comment that nothing says single like going to dinner by yourself again. That pretty much clued everyone in!

Wait. I go to dinner by myself all the time. Is that a bad thing!?

Tony no but I heard you sure  do like the dinners before the races to meet everyone lol

Yeah I like to eat food and drink with fellow BTers.
