bryancd - 2009-12-11 5:53 PM Aliana is going to chick a bunch of you boys, no doubt about it. And Jorge won't split a 2:58 even if they drop him off a cliff....
it might be 2:59:59 or 2:57:59, all I know it is going to be sub 3hrs!
...with a 6 hour bike split, maybe....
naaa, more like sub 5:30hr, I'll let you know by next June!

I so want to join in the smack talk, but I feel like an idiot talking smack when I've never done an Ironman before.  I wanted to talk some trash and claim I'm going to be the fastest first-time Ironman athlete, but I know what Jorge can throw down and there are some other BT fasties doing their first 140.6 ... so I'll just resort to picking on Tasr by saying: my money is on James being the fastest old dude at LP!!

considering is all about power and not musclely/big legs (just ask Chrissie) the chicken legs will do fine; in fact the they'll come very handy will all the climbing on the bike and run!

Don't worry, Fred, IRONMAN is going to take the coach back to school. Me thinks he's in for some painful new lessons.

That's ok, I rather try and fail than not trying at all. It is supposed to be hard, painful and humbling, that's part of the fun!

Indeed, you are a fellow Jedi, but not a Master yet, so "Do, or do not, there is no try".
