Damn! If I had a body like that I would happily pose in a skimpy little 2 piece number.  But I don't have a body like that, and since the chycks are gonna rock, I don't have to worry about it!  :-Þ

Maybe the "Where's Waldo" theme would be good (with ladies in their respective swimwear)....like this guy.

LOL!  Notice the guys behind him are giving him a wide berth.  Everywhere else, they're huddled together.

I'll hit 40km tomorrow morning.  The question is...how much more will Joel swim by Tuesday - 3000m, 5000m, 10,000m, nothing?

jkbostic - 2005-05-26 12:15 PM

Chalk up another goal finished for the guys!  Take your time finishing up your swims ladies.

I have some suggestions which I hope the men will take to heart when they pose for their respective photos.

In the first picture, we have a nice full body shot. The lighting makes it interesting. This gets 2 thumbs up.

I really like the angle on the 2nd pic. We get to see some chest, the nicely developed back muscles (and gratuitous butt shot), legs. This is my #1 recommendation for the men to mimic their shots on although pic #1 is pretty tough to beat.

#3 and 4 are action shots. Those would provide some variety in the pic layouts.

As if anyone could hold a candle to THORPIE!!!!! I still have 2 copies of the life size poster of him printed in The Age (Melbourne) during the Olympics.

I'm quite sure a few guys have already tried to post their favorite female swimsuit picks, but the censors got 'em. At any rate, I've noticed that I'm not getting updated for this week. Is that by design? Wink-wink, nudge-nudge - we're trying to lull them to sleep with a false sense of security. Great strategy! Hey, out of curiosity... there is a mandatory thong rule in effect for the chyks, isn't there?

You will see WAY too much of me in a thong. I frighten children and small dogs in a one piece suit. Be VERY careful what you wish for

However, I'm not too worried Team chycks will win this contest.

That was funny. Still giggling.

Kendall, we're not asking you to look like Thorpe. Just offering some suggestions on how to strike a pose.

For the stability and emotional well-being of the entire BT website, PLEASE GUYS!!!, no George Costanza glamour shots!!!!

Not updated?  I only update the spreadsheet at the end of each week...did I not get your week 3 total on Monday?

Woohoo!  Once the pool finally opened up today (imaginary lightning shut it down all morning) I was able to get a swim in and MADE MY GOAL for Team Chyck!  Only two swimming days left in May for me, so I think I estimated just about right.  Stay tuned to my logs for the OTHER swim goal for the month of swimming more than coredump swims.  It's gonna come down to the wire folks (but if you're keeping track, I am WAY in the lead right now).

SUCCESS! Had a very nice swim this morning and went over my goal by 600m. I even went to the pool on an unscheduled day especially for you wimmin, to finish the challenge before going out of town this weekend.

Too bad, guys. I look good in a thong.

Easily hit my 40km goal this morning and felt great doing it.  I might even put in another 5k before Tuesday just for good measure...or not...I'll see how the weekend treats me

I passed my meager goal this morning. Unfortunately, my pool is closed all weekend. Can you give us an update on Monday so I can decide of I need to swim Tuesday morning. Tuesday is normally a bike day, but if it's close I can go at least 1500m more.

Thanks again for setting up the challenge.

Nice job guys! I am hitting the pool tonight and I'll reach my goal and hit a personal milestone. I also have 2 OW for the weekend so I will go over my goal. As for the rest of the Team DY!K:

COME ON! 4 more days. Let's beat the Chycks and enjoy sexy pics throughout June

ps. Don't tell anyone but Renee and Elaine are already working on their picture pose ala baywatch

jclem's thread brought to light an interesting observation.

Since TH3_FRB is the one tallying the numbers, the men will have a clear advantage of knowing how close the race is on the home stretch. They can feasibly get the needed yards in to win. So, i'm wondering if either there is a woman on team CHYCK that can keep the same up-to-date tallying (or is already), or if the tally gets posted say...Monday night? Maybe the win has to be by a certain percentage..making it less likely that a group can be corralled to swim the yardages on tuesday?

(not that i think anyone is capable of such last minute aggressive drive. no, certainly not anyone here).

I think you misinterpreted. TH3 hasn't posted any updates just for the men. I was merely asking for a regular update to the thread on Monday. If some of the guys have been getting secret updates other than that it's news to me. No conspiracies here, please.

hey jclem - I wasn't insinuating a conspiracy on your part, or on anyones (yet).  I was suggesting the feasibility of one happening in the eleventh hour. Your note made me think of updates is all.

I should add...that the written word lacks one thing, the ability to relay a light spirited, good natured delivery, which is how I meant my note to be!! Maybe I should have included a smiley face.

I think everyone would benefit from a Monday update. I wouldn't want to face anything other than Team Chyck's best effort. A last minute update for everyone would definitely ensure that. Now how do I get my wife to take the picture if we lose?
