Tonight she wants me to skip to go to a burger bar with her cousin.

Tomorrow wants to go to a pizza party at another friends.

I kind of got upset at how she is undermining me and her response is I could order something healthy.

But seriously, how to you go to a gourmet burger joint and not get a burger?  That's like going to the Moonlight Bunny Ranch and not getting... well, whatever it is that they do there.  I wouldn't know.

Hehehehe. Yeah Cool

The days I drink alcohol I eat very little food. I get to drink or eat, but not both. Ha!

If I had a triathlon coach tell me to save calories by drinking a food substitute to give me 'energy' I would fire them.

I'm not his coach. I'm a normal person on the side. I eat plenty of calories but when I try to reduce calories to lose weight, I get lighted and dizzy and I have no energy to workout. So, I drink UCAN before a workout (as it was intended) to fuel me through the workout. Doing this helped me lose 12 lbs.

Otherwise, you do realize I was also half-joking around as well... correct? I know KIDO. We have met. Sometimes you can't take things said TOO seriously. And yes, even a triathlon coach, I joke around.

This is why there should be eligibility requirements for TAN.....

So how does this work? Do we post useless, just random stuff in this thread?

Random: I want to get a tattoo touched up and words added to it. I was quoted 2.5 hours in the chair. My last tattoo was only 1.5 hours and I liked to nearly die. I was told I could take a pain pill, but I fear falling asleep and then the tattoo would stop. I really want it touched up, but dang, I'm a wimp when it comes to that kind of pain!

Wondering if the pain pill would really help.

I might also remove the lettering I was going to add. That would reduce the time.

Hey TAN!

So my daughter has a small tattoo on the underside of her arm that says, "Keep me where the light is."  Last night John Mayer called her up to the stage from the 7th row, laid down on the stage and signed it for her.  She is big time happy about now.

Any thought of having the autograph tatted for permanence?

Thanks brotha!  Yeah, she already said that too.

FYI:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DApQ8fJF9Og  Apparently it's on Youtube as well.  She's a smart kid and I allowed the tat because she has never gotten in trouble in her life, carries a 94 GPA and had to deal with some rough times recently.  This was great just because I know how happy it made her.  I may fund it anyway.

Dude??

This is TAN, not a regular COJ thread... we try to keep personal attacks to a minimum. Unless it's kicking Tony in the ding-ding.

WOW. Seriously. I'm actually an amazing coach with very successful triathlete's. If you don't know what you are talking about then you need to stop talking.

Maybe get it done in two stages.  Skip the text the first time around, then get it added in later on.

We haven't had a good kicking of Tony in the ding-ding in a while.  It kinda makes me sad.

But really dck4shrt, this is TAN... no personal attacks in here please.

And in case you're unfamiliar with the rules of TAN:

1) no pics

2) no using of the acronym for Laughing Out Loud

3) whatever happens in TAN, stays in TAN and vice versa... no talking about other threads in TAN, other than telling people to stay out of other threads for their own mental health.

So kicking Tony in the ding ding isn't a personal attack because ding ding is funny to say, right?

That's exactly what I was thinking! I even sent the artist an email asking how long it would be to just redo the tattoo without the lettering!

Training our bodies to work efficiently in Zone 2 will help us keep our HR and pace even throughout an Ironman. This theory would hold true for the bike and run portion of an Ironman race.
