IMLP BT'ers, I just wanted to thank all of you for an amazing year.  We've had the chance to share so much, on and off of this thread and I've had a wonderful time getting to know all of you.  Thanks to all the Tri Gurus that have helped with all of my questions, reassured me, and talked smack to me throughout the year, I've loved every moment of it.  A special thanks to KathyG and Bryancd, we all know what they mean to this site so I won't repeat it.

Good luck to you all, I wish you nothing but the best tomorrow.

Now that I got that mushy mushy lovey dovey stuff, be sure to look out for my crazy a$$ family on the course.  Our house is located right near the run turnaround on Mirror Lake Dr.  Most will be wearing a white t-shirt with a Farmers Insurance logo on it.  I've left them a list of names and numbers, but lets face it, their all nuts and they'll be drinking

Again, good luck!

I was down at the swim earlier today, trying out both my Orca long john (which haven't worn in 5 years) and my Blue Seventy full suit. Hands down, I'm wearing the full suit. The Orca felt too tight in the chest, and Blue Seventy felt like a torpedo.

I'm slightly concerned about overheating late in the race, but I figure I'll take the chance.

Now I'm off to drop off my bike at transition.

Good luck everyone, ride carefully, stay safe, and be strong!

bike is checked, and the work is done.  time to simply execute as they say.

Its hard to believe it has been a year, and this thread surely deserves some of the credit for getting me here in one piece.

The advice has been priceless, the experience people offer has been beyond useful.

I have layed low this week, and havent slept this much in months.

I have enjoyed the time spend with the few of you I have met (Tasr, Pason and ADco) and hope to meet more of you tomorrow and the morning after.

Be safe and good luck everyone!!

All checked in! Gotta figure out dinner and then hopefully get a goodnight sleep.

Good Luck to all. I'll be wearing something orange on the bike and have orange tires on the bike!

Have a good night and enjoy you day!

Have a great race everyone, I've really enjoyed sharing this weekend with many of you.

I thought I'd repost this thread from last year, it was great to read before I did IMWI:

Good luck to everyone tomorrow! Enjoy your time out on the course however long it takes to finish. Remember that every stroke, pedal turn, and step you take moves you just that much closer to the finish line.

I didn't get a chance to meet any of you this weekend but really wanted too. Logistics just didn't pan out for me. But I wish everyone a great race and if you see race #360, that's me! Say hello. Have a great race!

I think you have to go to Ironman.com not sure if they have texts or not but they do have the athlete tracker.

Have a good race everyone!

I'll use the athlete tracker tomorrow for sure.  I wish they would add the text functionality.  It's so nice to have!

Detroit Dan - 2010-07-23 9:56 AM Please Help:  There are 237  pages of info here and I'm not that good with the search features. I am not racing this year.
I want to register on line for 2011. From what I saw on the website registration, for those like me, starts at Noon on Monday. Will it sell out instantly? Do I have to be in panic mode?

Thank You in advance.
2008 and prior, it would sell out in the on-site registration. Never made it to the web signup. Last year, it made it to the web, and if I remember correctly it was open for something like 30 minutes. My guess is it'll be something similar. So...no panic, but don't take too much time...

More Help:  Any other last minute advise?
