Havin'Fun - 2010-06-27 5:26 PM Back from the race.  It went ok.  Swim was crazy crowded, pased three folks in the pool (one person in the top ten started out doing breastrooke...sorry, but if you plan to breaststroke you should not submit a sub 1:10 100m time).  Bike was good (for me).  Run was difficult...got emotional and I could not get a breath.  Ended up winning my AG.  Overall, ok with it. 
I'll put up a rr once the times are posted. 

Thanks everyone for your support.  It has been hard the last few days.

Looks like the girls are tearing it up at IM.  Look forward to tracking them.

Just OK withf irst in your age group. come on Linda shout it out.

Go Kyla! Go Linda! Having so much fun tracking them and watching live coverage! Sooo proud of my girl Linsey!!! I've met her a few times and took an OWS clinic she was teaching in Frenchtown, MT.  She is the nicest person and an awesome athlete! So happy for her!!!!

Nice...  1st in AG!  totally agree about the breast strokers in the top 25 swimmers or so in a pool swim.  One RD down here will pull them out of the water and make them go to the end of  the line...  He's a bit intense...

I had a strong "training" race today but have no idea how I finished.  My HR monitor showed 2:30:15 but because it was pouring rain, I didn't stick around for results (and they weren't going to be posted anytime soon at the race because of the rain) and they have not been posted to the website yet.  I didn't wear the Garmin either because my purpose was to visit the "hurt locker" today so no watch splits because less information is more when going there............ I will post a full RR as soon as result and splits are posted.

Have enjoyed watching the Ladies of CdL kick some serious Long Course butt today.   GO  GO  GO!

Hey Dineen: You did use the Garmin though, right? That HR data is valuable for the run.....it'll keep you honest in your next event!

I too have enjoyed tracking the girls....really impressive.

Congrats to the rest of the racers too....great job Doug and Linda!!!!
